Pros

Good Product, Decent Benefits, Free lunch.

Cons

Before I go in more detail, I want to make clear that I speak based on my experience in the Sales & Customer Success team. Joining this company was the biggest mistake of my life. I should not have ignored horrible reviews about work culture and management. Tip: If you are relying on Glassdoor reviews before joining, most of the 5-star reviews are posted by the management team to keep the company’s rating high. You can see the trend where after every 1-star review there is a series of 5-star reviews. There are only two ratings: 1* (real) and 5* (fake). If you want a real picture of company/work culture pay attention to negative reviews. This company doesn’t deserve to be in the Bay Area. They are not like any bay area startup; they are more like a factory where employees are treated like slaves. First and foremost they have ZERO flexibility when it comes to working hours. They have strict 9-6 working hours (9 hrs!) policy. If you are a few minutes late, you are being yelled in front of everyone. You can not leave office 10 minutes before, if you do so, the next day you will have 1:1 with your manager who yells at you and makes sure you don’t do it again. Sales & CS Managment has an attitude of either follow my instructions or get lost. I have known few employees personally who have got fired just because they had given suggestions which were not liked by management. It is a very hostile environment to work. Sales management takes everything so personally that people have to show up in their events even when they are sick. Employees are scared to say no to any event organized by sales management! I had to go for one of the events despite being sick. I was told that if I don't show up, it might not be liked by the management and it could hurt my tenure in the company. There is a lot of nepotism. If you speak a specific language or come from a particular geography, you would have higher chances of progressing in the company and even making more money. Pay is below industry standard. They trick you by saying that there is no cap on commission however their commission is super complicated, and you would never make the money they promised at the time of hiring.

Pros

Having spent a long career in tech, JFrog is easily a top-tier employer. The leadership genuinely cares, the product is an industry standard, and the work-life balance is excellent.

Cons

Because the company is growing so quickly, things change fast. It can be a challenge to keep up with the rapid pace of evolution, but it's an exciting environment if you enjoy staying on your toes.

Pros

Great People - You can rely on your coworkers Great Culture - Everyone has a go getter attitude, very willing to help. Fun and frequent work events Great Compensation - Market rates + RSUs Lots of room to grow - Company is growing, offers and supports moving up and even transitions roles Work life balance - Work life balance is good Training - lots of time to ramp up. Very surprised and impressed by how much time they give you to get ready to work on your own. Challenging - This might be a negative for some people, but the work is challenging, a lot is expected of you.

Cons

Not too many cons from my perspective. Probably the best corporate job I've ever had. Training - While I mentioned this as a pro. I felt the training was long and difficult to retain. Most of the learning comes from doing your job Challenging work, but if you can hang with it. It is very rewarding
