Pros

IPO and making money (maybe if the CEO likes you) Product sells itself. there is no competitive product like it. you can come off the street with no sales experience, and close deals. Tech team is amazing and have a 10 year head start on the competition.

Cons

Not a fun place to work at. All day long people talk behind closed doors about how miserable they really are… Only two people will do well here. Either it’s your first job and you don’t know any better or you are willing to kiss butt all day long, fake clap the executive team on anything they spit out, etc… all for a chance of making some money on the IPO. Every week people are laid off. Every week. There is no sales training and retention plans. If you say anything (one word) that doesn’t sit right with the executive team you are gone! The executives don’t care about your opinion and oh by the way they also don’t have any sales experience. They know everything there is to know and unless you are ready to kiss butt all day and do exactly what they say, without challenging anything or showing them there might be a different way to do things, you will be gone. its our way or the highway. You will also be asked to fake clap the executives to ensure they feel your love. If you don’t clap hard, you may be gone. If you don’t go on Glassdoor and write fake good reviews, and show your manager you will be gone. see Oct 2018 glassdoor review that all of a sudden increased fro 3.2 to 4.2 in one week... fake news

Pros

Having spent a long career in tech, JFrog is easily a top-tier employer. The leadership genuinely cares, the product is an industry standard, and the work-life balance is excellent.

Cons

Because the company is growing so quickly, things change fast. It can be a challenge to keep up with the rapid pace of evolution, but it's an exciting environment if you enjoy staying on your toes.

Pros

Great People - You can rely on your coworkers Great Culture - Everyone has a go getter attitude, very willing to help. Fun and frequent work events Great Compensation - Market rates + RSUs Lots of room to grow - Company is growing, offers and supports moving up and even transitions roles Work life balance - Work life balance is good Training - lots of time to ramp up. Very surprised and impressed by how much time they give you to get ready to work on your own. Challenging - This might be a negative for some people, but the work is challenging, a lot is expected of you.

Cons

Not too many cons from my perspective. Probably the best corporate job I've ever had. Training - While I mentioned this as a pro. I felt the training was long and difficult to retain. Most of the learning comes from doing your job Challenging work, but if you can hang with it. It is very rewarding
