      Many opportunities to gain experience Good health benefits Decent company culture in Actuarial department — people are friendly, hardworking, and encouraging

      Located in Lansing, MI (very low COL) so salaries are not competitive for remote workers. This is not a con if you are relocating to Lansing, MI. Company is very niche in its market, future growth is uncertain. In a news publication, it was stated the company would outsource jobs to India rather than hire within the US.

      The 3rd party company that supports LOA is extremely difficult to work with regardless if you are extremely accountable and organized which can make LOA situations stressful.
