Pros
Once you make it to a senior level (director and above) the pay and benefits are often unmatched by competitors. This is both a blessing and a curse. Lower tier employees are paid much less than they are worth while higher tiers are paid extremely well. This also leads to many feeling like they are in a gilded cage - they sometimes hate their jobs but won't leave, so they lack motivation and drive.
Cons
Many leaders get away with bad attitudes and poor leadership. The top leadership is too busy arguing among themselves to address it.
