"Toxic Work Environment, Poor Management, and Zero Support – Avoid Working Here" - Cashier KFC Employee Review

Working at KFC in Monroe started okay, but quickly became frustrating. There was little to no training provided — I was expected to jump in and know everything right away, and when I made mistakes, I was criticized instead of helped. Management showed apparent favoritism, and some employees were mistreated or spoken to with disrespect. The work was physically draining, especially during busy hours, and the environment near the fryers was hot and uncomfortable. The only real pro was the weekly pay, which helped me stay on top of my bills. However, that wasn’t enough to compensate for the lack of support and poor treatment. If you're looking for your first job, be prepared to teach and stand up for yourself, because management won’t always have your back.
