Pros
There is no pros for working here.
Cons
Took away dental coverage, no raises, laid off employees and work you twice as hard. No overtime, expressed concerns to HR and nothing happened. Outsourced Ap and IT and let long term employees go. Nowhere to advance in company.
Kadel's Auto Body Response
11y
In 2008, sales dropped significantly and the world economy was in disarray. In response to the economic challenges, Kadel's and many other companies reduced benefits, froze wages, capped overtime and reduced staffing to meet the lower sales level. The staff reductions were completed in early 2009 and any subsequent staff removals have been performance related. Performance-based wage increases have been reinstated and benefits continue to improve.
The senior management team, the majority of shop managers and a large number of supervisors have been promoted into their current positions. Kadel's has the only formal Technician Training Program in Oregon. The company is committed to promoting from within.
I can ensure you that I have compassion for the employees; and with everyone pulling together, we came through the great recession with most of our employees employed without their wages being reduced, and with great opportunities moving forward.

Pros
I work in the Corporate Services center, so I've had the opportunity to interact with most of the upper level management and they've been open and available to me. They seem to be working diligently to keep the company running smoothly and in a positive direction. I've seen a large number of people promoted from within the company, too. It's a good place to be if you're creative because there's a culture of openness to new ideas.
