Pros
Used to be a good place to work, not any more. Company does gift free shares to staff - but if you leave, you lose all gifted shares in the last 3 years, it's a well baited hook to keep people indebted while senior management make millions off your back.
Cons
Toxic work environment created by bullying management who act with complete impunity, HR supports this rather than challenging it. Senior management have a take it or leave it attitude to problems, direct quote from HR - "If you want to have a career here, just accept it and move on, or you can leave." There are no attempts to find mutually beneficial solutions or compromise. HR will crush any objections and threaten to sue you, even when they agree they are breaching your employment contract. Junior tech staff will get lots of training just to indebt them to the company. Once you get promoted the training dries up and you don't earn new skills any more. Makes lots of PR noise about being a great place to work, but target the hire inexperienced, junior staff who are easily manipulated into the CULTure way of thinking. They will advertise dozens of promotions every cycle, but more than half those jobs don't exist, and the other half are opened "for someone who played the politics game", they repeatedly interview people for jobs they know do not exist just to dangle the carrot of possible success, and cultivate a "try harder" environment. Perfect example of profit over people. Will squeeze good people and keep them in roles they don't want to be in to keep that government money flowing. More interested in account margins than staff wellbeing, shown by lots of staff on mental health sick due to insane pressures and no help. Covid delivery projects made huge profit, dozens of staff were working 70+ hrs a week with no relief, and absent management just letting those below them carry the heat. When you try to get help from higher up the company ladder, the problem gets passed back down to those who are causing it without proper supervision or intervention, allowing them to take it out on anyone who is perceived to be complaining.
