Pros

Co-workers are intelligent and motivated. The work is often complex and presents with opportunities to grow.

Cons

Management are incapable of managing company finances. They believe that hiring numerous directors and VP's to manage 0 - 2 employees each is a great idea while simultaneously laying off large numbers of employees who are actually revenue earning. Micromanagement is very real and management makes project decisions and takes credit for the good ones and fires employees for their bad ones. The company is in turmoil right now as leadership transitions and staffing and policy decisions are being reconfigured. The consequence: no work/life balance, no promotions, no raises, and no bonus - unless you are management. Overall, the culture is one of pretended excellence from management when in reality it is a crushing environment in which to work. 0/100 would recommend working here.

Pros

- Opportunity to make a real, positive impact with a powerful, innovative product. - Fully remote / virtual set up, work from home with 100% autonomy. - Start-up vibes, always exciting and keeps you thinking. - Fun problems to be solved with really smart & diverse people. - GREAT benefits - esp for a smaller company. Company pays 100% of my healthcare, vision, dental + life insurance and short term disability. - New FTO (flex time off) = no more max hours = no more stress about running out of vacation or sick or personal time. - Leaders and HR are genuine people who care about people and are very accessible and easy to talk to. - New senior member on the exec team (President) that has a successful background in helping to rebuild companies. He seems very transparent & has a confidential forum where people can ask questions and share ideas or concerns. He answers those openly and publicly for all of us to see so very trusting. - Career development - always something to learn, they offer career workshops and a lot of on the job learning, cross-functional training opportunities, conferences, etc.

Cons

- We had a recent restructure that, naturally, has created some confusion and worry among some people. But it feels like that was a smart decision so should calm down soon once everyone settles back in. - If you are super social and thrive on more in-person work + not a fan of zoom meetings then this might be a challenging place. - Working across different time zones and now global customers = some possible odd working hours but not for all and only occasionally. - 100% virtual also comes with challenges around communication, relationships, knowledge sharing, etc but Slack is super helpful and there's a weekly company wide meeting where we get regular updates and celebrate anniversaries & big wins.

Pros

A few teammates made tough projects easier to get through.

Cons

Leadership lost its way completely. They are always confused and change routes. The pay was average, and extra effort rarely led to anything meaningful. Time away from work was hard to protect, and many people stayed connected even during personal time. Support and training were limited, so most of us learned by trial and error. Leadership was horrible, and priorities changed so often that teams were always adjusting. The ceo talked a lot about big goals, but the day to day experience felt disconnected from those plans. If you want stability, beware, because layoffs, confusion, and people quietly leaving became a normal part of the culture.
