Pros
LGC is extremely diverse company, it covers genomics, forensics, standards who make and supply reference materials and other CRMs, proficiency testing and it also has a NMI function. It therefore has a lot divisions and broad spectrum of staff and skillets, cut a long story short it is not a one trick pony type of organisation.
Cons
Not all the sectors work together with ease, this is the same as other organisations of this size, so there is a lot of duplication. However this is being looked into.
