      Pros

      None at all - an absolutely awful place to work. The owner and management are all over the place, disorganised and malicious, and this culture trickles down into the rest of the office environment. I ignored my instincts and several red flags during the interview process. I wish I’d never stepped through the door. This is not a family business it’s claiming to be.

      Cons

      Terrible training, culture is awful, bitchiness and drama, lying and false promises from the management and owner. Communication is rude and aggressive. Staff turnover is extremely high, and those that have been there from the beginning are purposefully unwelcoming and not open to change. The charity work LOFT is involved in seems to be a mask to cover up an awful attitude to sustainability from a business perspective.

      Thank you for your feedback. We welcome and value openness and honesty. In the last 18-24 mths we've gone through a major change program at all levels in the business, this has meant that team structures have needed to be changed and have evolved in line with current business needs. We take employee well-being very seriously and have recently invested in training 9 mental health 1st aiders. At LOFT we are very conscious about the impact our business has on the planet. We divert at least 95% of our waste from landfill and we plant a tree for every project apartment furnished. We wish you the very best in your future career

      Pros

      Depending on the people you work with the job is manageable and can be easy to do.

      Cons

      Can be understaffed which puts workload on current team members. Higher ups are not your friends or have your back. Corporate is very customer first but to the extent that the team isn't always respected. Pay is not a living wage.

      Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We've invested heavily over the last 2 years in our systems and infrastructure. We're not too sure what you mean by "corporate" this in't a term we use within LOFT uk. As an employer we do pay above "real" living wage which is actually more than "national" living wage. We always try to be inclusive and supportive of all our staff, however within any business you may not be "friends" with all your colleagues.
