Pros

LabConnect benefits from an uplifting, positive mission statement in its work to help develop new medical therapies. It takes full advantage of that in bringing to that mission employees who sincerely want to contribute. That's the overarching feeling here.

Cons

The company is growing and that inevitably brings change. Change can be uncomfortable for anyone and can result in conflicts. LabConnect has experienced more than its share of conflict.

Pros

Good salary and benefits, work life balance, truly professional and compassionate leadership, plenty of room for advancement

Cons

Some departments are harder to work for than others. Project Management was a tough one.

Pros

My coworkers and direct management are good, the insurance is pretty good

Cons

Pay is horrible, the culture used to be great but over the past year or two, it's gone downhill drastically after new exec leadership came in. Some changes have been good but overall, from a people standpoint, it has overall been negative. Changes in PTO that we weren't informed of until halfway through the year or not at all, constant revolving door of people, no investment in employees, pay well below the market rate only to be told we're getting market valuation raises to bring us in line with the industry standard only for combined market adjustment and merit raises that don't even cover the price of gas. Layoffs that we only find out about because a bunch of people are no longer reachable on teams. Morale has never been lower, people feel so under valued or not valued at all, and despite constantly saying one of our top values is "people first" and talking about how employees are the backbone of the company, I've never felt less valued in my life and like anything will be done to save a few dollars, even when we're not asking for much besides to be treated with decency and get paid for the huge amount that we do given how understaffed we are
