Pros
The corporate offices of Lakeshore are filled with unlimited opportunity for those who are intelligent, tenacious, and are able to solve their own problems. The company has little corporate structure, and positions are often created around successful personalities. There are no more than 5 layers of management separating the guy delivering mail from the company president, which offers almost anyone with gumption the opportunity to truly make a measurable difference.
Cons
If I were to pick a single personality trait of a successful "Lakeshorian", it is that they are people who like to work hard, but we don't always work smart. So much emphasis is put on getting the job done with an almost panicky fervor, that little time is spent formulating a plan of action, which often results in conflicting priorities, duplicative efforts, and waisted energy. (probably a common story)
