Pros

LaunchGood is one of the most mission driven places I have ever worked. People genuinely care about the impact and about serving the Ummah with excellence. It is not just something written on a website. The team is smart, thoughtful, and globally diverse, which makes conversations meaningful and engaging. There is a strong sense of ownership. If you see something that needs improvement, you are usually empowered to take initiative instead of waiting for layers of approval. You will grow quickly here, I have seen numerous teammates start as juniors and grow as leaders. You get exposure to strategy, operations, product, and marketing, sometimes all at once. Leadership encourages debate and thoughtful pushback. When people disagree, it is usually because they care deeply about doing things right. Working through Ramadan campaigns is intense but incredibly meaningful. You feel the impact in real time and see how your work directly supports communities around the world.

Cons

To me, it's more of a "scale-up" and they are not a non-profit, so things move quickly, and sometimes processes are still being built while you are running. If you prefer very structured environments with everything perfectly documented, this might feel different than a typical corporate space. Ramadan season is high energy and high pressure. It requires stamina and strong planning. Time zones can also be challenging since the team is spread across multiple countries. Overall, if you are motivated by mission and comfortable with a fast pace, it can be a very rewarding place to work.

Pros

The company's mission is meaningful and helps people through its fundraising platform. Unfortunately, that same level of care was not reflected in how employees were treated.

Cons

I had a very disappointing experience working at this company. The work culture was unhealthy, and there was little sense of job security. Layoffs seemed to happen frequently, creating a constant atmosphere of uncertainty and making employees feel easily replaceable. One of the biggest issues was the leadership. In my experience, many managers did not provide proper coaching, constructive feedback, or honest communication. Instead of helping employees grow, they often relied on micromanagement, which created unnecessary stress and made it difficult to work with confidence. I also felt that recognition and job security depended more on having strong connections with higher management than on performance or dedication. Whether intentional or not, this created the impression that favoritism mattered more than merit, while many employees were treated as if they were simply there to meet targets rather than being valued as people. Overall, I would not recommend working here if you are looking for stability, supportive leadership, or a positive work environment. Based on my experience, the company lacks transparency during organizational changes, and repeated layoffs made it difficult to feel secure about the future. I hope the company invests in better leadership, more honest communication, and a culture that genuinely values its employees.
