The pay is not great

good job title, exposure to the reality of this sector

A good bulk of the direct care staff pride themselves on being hostile. They are boastful about their unprofessionalism. Extraordinarily toxic environment. Disorganized. The staff act like gang members. A very unfortunate environment for the children.
