Sinking ship disguised as a thriving company - Anonymous Leanplum Employee Review

The culture and atmosphere at Leanplum has taken a huge dive over the past month. The company went through a round of layoffs where they cut 30 some odd employees, 4 days after an all hands where the president talked about how great the company was doing and how the future was bright. On top of that, many culture leaders in the office were put on a 3 month runway before they would get let go, as they are moving all customer success and SDR teams out to denver in the next three months. Earlier this year, Leanplum hired a number of people who came in really looking to make a change for the better, and they were on their way to doing so. Unfortunately, because of a CEO who is (in my opinion) a poor leader who has completely mishandled the companies finances, they company is being run into the ground. I will be surprised if it is still standing at the end of this year. What we are left with are offices that have been stripped of positivity and culture with people taking calls from recruiters in conference rooms and photo booths. The recruitment team does their job well, but take a deeper look before accepting a job here. It looks great on the surface, but it is a toxic ship that is sinking fast.
