Reactive leadership, Poor HR - Project Manager LearningMate Solutions Employee Review

Pros

I have no pros for this company to share at this time

Cons

The leadership is toxic and reactive. There is no central company mission or goal -- each section of the business reacts (and poorly) to current trends or clients without any top down, strategic and unified vision that is shared to motivate and drive employees. Employees are underpaid and overworked, all while our computers monitor our time and we must clock in and out. Unethical business practices. Zero career growth potential. HR is non-responsive. Benefits are the bare minimum. They do not pay contractors on time.

Pros

Decent Salary & remote life was the only nice perk

Cons

-Management is not on your side. There are individuals on the team that calls the shots and the “hierarchy” is very misaligned. -Expectations from the job was to hit the ground running. I was told to be the elite of NCLEX item writing. When I was not ever mentioned or told to during the interview that was a heavy portion of the role. Item writing was mentioned as a prerequisite. However, my experience was not counted as so and thought of lesser than. Would not be able to speak up to anyone (no matter how nice or constructive) for fear of retaliation or feeling stupid. No work life balance. I was working at 6am, 2pm, 10pm didn’t matter about “hours”. Because the work had project manager deadlines.
