Pros

None anymore, was ok years ago.

Cons

Sexual harassment, employees sleeping with management and it getting covered up through promotions/transfers. Retaliation against those who complain about sexual harassment. Little room for advancement through honest means. Metrics have been lowered to an unreasonable level while only taking 1-3% of your work as a sample size for quality. Managers have direct control over how much of your work is reviewed and therefore the ability to skew your performance numbers. PTO is both inadequate, hard to use, and often frowned upon. They post fake reviews on Glassdoor which are obvious to all, "Philly's Best Workplaces" is not something an employee cares about or would tout, that is an HR representative's advertisement, and worse, that same review was responded to by HR (so HR talking to themselves?) in such a manner that just proceeded to tout false positives to employment there. If Reed Tech is such a great place to work...why are they now so desperate for data entry employees that they have tripled their referral bonus to 750$?

Pros

Work Day Flexibility Infrequent office visits - 4x a month fairly decent pay

Cons

- Promotions very difficult - attractive positions already earmarked for internal candidates prior to posting the req - high probability of pigeonholing - org is extremely reactive and tends to ignore suggestions until something becomes a problem - highly unorganized - very difficult to get answers or solve problems due to ambiguity in ownership of responsibilities/roles - unfair distribution of support across BU's - lack of organization tends to cause unnecessary stress - you need to have strong boundaries otherwise work/life balance can become non-existent
