Pros

Absolutely love working here. Started out as an Active Stylist in the store level, and was able to grow and get a full time position in the home office. This company truly has pushed my learning abilities, and I am learning something new every day when I am here! Whether it's regarding health and fitness, or regarding my position knowledge and skills, this company has so much room for growth, I even recommended two of my friends to apply to locations near them! Everyone is so eager to help one another, and it's a true team environment here. I am excited to growth with Lorna Jane and be apart of the Active Living Movement!

Cons

Small kitchen, but we make it work! A dishwasher would be nice to have and maybe a smoothie blender! Also, the office tends to get cold at certain times of the day, but it's nothing too serious. The work environment here is very clean, healthy, and safe regardless.

Pros

There were no pros to working for this company.

Cons

Corporate had such unrealistic expectations and would micromanage by calling throughout the day asking all employees what the current sales numbers were at and what each employee would do to turn it around. There was barely any foot traffic and the regional manager would push for everyone to go through out the mall and food court to get people to come into the store, as well as stand in front of the store to lure people to come in. It was so cringey and seemed to turn customers away even more. It seemed and felt desperate. Everything was focused on numbers and not any concern for customers or employees at all. It seemed to have gone against everything Lorna Jane stood for and all the motivational “vibes” and sayings in stores and on clothing. It was cliquey and not an inclusive environment. The store manager was great and tried her best, but none of the employees would listen and basically wanted to sit on their phones instead of work and do things like basic tasks such as go-backs, make sure the store and merchandise was tidy and organized. Not unreasonable asks at all. There was even a pregnant employee who got in trouble by the regional manager for elevating her feet while on a break in the back. Crazy!
