Pros
The people are generally really nice and helpful. Once you find your niche people are very willing to work with you to find what you need or help you in any way get things done with a event or trade show.
Cons
Some have called the upper management "good old boys" due to their old ages and male dominated management nature. Benefits are not great by any means, and I have never heard of anyone getting a raise or bonus in the past five years. This past summer there was a large unexpected layoff, so job security is certainly lacking. When I went into this company I thought i was signing up with this great well established large company but was seriously disappointed in management and often out of touch upper level management. Also, expect to receive calls and emails on your blackberry at all times of the night and you are expected to drop everything and respond within an hour.
