Pros
The client base is one of the best to work with. The level of planning one gets to do is fairly interesting. You can really make a difference in client's lives with good work. The salaries are on the high-end of average for the industry.
Cons
Leadership is rudderless and mainly seems to be a collection of individuals trying to promote themselves rather than better the company. Bonuses have been restructured to be far more difficult to achieve than in years past. Salary increases are frozen across the company despite revenues increasing in profitability each year. Doctors are much less trusting of MD than in the past and for good reason. The substantial increase on sales focus has come at the expense of caring whether or not we have a good offer available for physicians. Software and resources are not competitive with other firms. Long-term, MD is probably going to be swallowed up by Scotiabank in all but name.
