Pros

Friendly co-workers, good office supplies, PTO, hybrid work environment

Cons

A poorly concealed preference for top level executives and employees who’ve been there since the beginning. Seemingly promotes a team environment but places unreasonable expectations on employees. Compared to others in this very profitable market the wages are subpar- nearly 75% lower.

Pros

Hybrid work environment Casual office with free snacks and events Friendly and passionate coworkers Working towards a good mission & cause Paid leave for parents & disabilities Unlimited PTO but is serious about encouraging a 4 week minimum Retirement matches on student loans

Cons

If you intend to rely on health insurance from this employer, definitely reconsider what other options you have. Ever since GEHC bought MIM the medical benefits are awful. I have spent countless hours fighting with insurance through third party systems to figure out claims, coverage, and other basic details that were never a hassle with our previous insurance providers. Half of the “in network” services and clinics don’t even recognize the insurance we have and it’s impossible to fill out online forms for certain services because our insurance just doesn’t exist in any systems. You also cannot contact the insurance directly without being taken to a third party who poorly communicates back what your options are. I am a healthy individual, but managing my health benefits has been the worst part of my year. I don’t know how a medical company can get this so wrong.
