Pros

The coworkers are very nice and supportive. The pay is slightly higher than other retail stores plus 1% commission. One hour lunch break. Free uniform (but they want it back after you leave because the company is cheap).

Cons

What is work life balance? If they know they can squeeze the life out of you and your schedule, they will. Favoratism is painfully obvious. Supervisors talk to each other all day, but criticize you for not being up to their standard. They will also talk to you like a child. Schedules can sometimes be mislabeled for you, so you end up coming an hour or two early/staying an hour or two late . Associates constantly get sick because of the unregulated temperature. Very passive aggressive supervisors. Inefficient way of doing stock checks. A POS system so old it should be criminal. Nearly associate here is miserable and vocalizes that fact. Wonderful comradery among associates, but sometimes gets stomped out by upper management. Frigid and strict district manager. They way they treat associates on the extremely rare occasion a celebrity visits is disgusting. If you're a good, by-the-books employee, they WILL take advantage of you! Flagship store has high maintanence customers to the extreme degree.

Pros

Competitive pay range, ability to be promoted quickly

Cons

Unprofessional management from district manager level up to regional team. No support in achieving business metrics. Unachievable sales targets, based on no market research. No accountability from anyone. All blame for store business is put onto store manager.
