Pros

Not Applicable for this company.

Cons

The company spends a lot on marketing for what appears to be fake PR. Customers seem to be treated as a top priority, but employees are not given the same respect. Recognition appears to be given to those who are most vocal about their achievements or who work tirelessly to promote the company. There's a lack of transparency; there was a silent layoff of over 40% in 2023, which occurred right before appraisals and end-of-year bonuses. The company offers loyalty bonuses, but only after a certain number of years of service. The HR department has a high turnover rate, with new staff often leaving within six months, leading to inconsistent employee support. Leadership lunch sessions seemed more focused on self-promotion than on providing genuine transparency or visibility into the company's growth. If you're interested in workplace politics, this company could serve as a valuable case study. Friday breakfast meetings used to be a regular occurrence with the primary goal of promoting the company's image. Working here can be detrimental to your professional reputation. Promotions and higher raises seem to be given to those who excel at appearing busy and taking credit for others' work, rather than those who work hard. Raising concerns or issues often leads to lower raises and may put your job at risk. Your career progression is entirely dependent on the company's ever-changing needs. While there are many leaves on paper, taking them is discouraged. Groupism and cliquey behaviour are pervasive in the company culture. Projects often lack substance, focusing on minor changes to existing code or replicating existing logic instead of true development. The pay scale is very low compared to the industry average. The company has a history of promoting junior staff into leadership roles before they are ready, likely due to high turnover among senior staff. Fresh graduates who hope to work in analytics are often placed in sales roles, which can harm their career path. Despite promoting professional business etiquette, it's rarely followed, particularly within the administration. There's a history of providing clients with inaccurate information to secure business, such as presenting junior staff as experienced professionals during client interviews. After hiring thousands in 2022, the company fired thousands randomly in 2023. Quarterly ratings feel random and are often given by managers who have minimal interaction with their teams. Leadership provides little support to teams when dealing with client-related issues. The company initially promoted a permanent work-from-home policy to attract talent, but has since mandated a return to the office, threatening to withhold raises from those who don't comply. The company publicly claims to be superior to major consulting firms like McKinsey and the Big 4. A significant portion of leadership and overseas offices lack fundamental skills and knowledge. There is a lack of empathy for employees, who are treated more like resources than people. A typical workday averages over 12 hours. The company appears to have dedicated teams for generating fake reviews, positive marketing and removing negative reviews.
