Pros

Exposure to great creatives and strategists

Cons

You're hired because you're the best - they will exploit that, while underpaying and undervaluing you - overworking you and making you think it's what you need to do to get into the business, when it's not. You spend more time going to a local party city buying gifts for clients then you will on actual strategy to win accounts. They will purposefully and knowingly exploit you, and they will not care. But you can put it on your resume! You will never sleep, bullying culture, they advocate weight loss challenges, they will pay you to sleep for one hour in the hotel room across the street so you can come in the next hour for a client presentation, treated like you're worth nothing even though you're doing all the heavy lifting, senior management doesn't care about you or your well being, if you don't stay until 6am-6am you'll be shunned because you needed to go home at 4am, crying because of mental health is not acceptable even though they very obviously exploit you but everyone turns a blind eye. If you are sick and need time off for whatever reason, you'll likely get fired (I've seen it happen). Horrible, horrible working culture. Could go on and on...

Pros

Cons

high-level corporate structure—hard to get around opinions of select few. Felt very political at times. Deadline stress often with client projects.
