Pros

- The co-founders seem like they are truly passionate about what the product is meant to deliver to the market. - The office admin and training lead try really hard to make Midaxo a great place to be and to work and I commend them for it. The flip side of this pro is that it unfortunately all feels like a ruse; see below.

Cons

- The product has been hung up making an infrastructure change for over 2 years, delaying important improvements that prospective clients are actively asking for and that competitors are building. - Leadership expects results even when the targets keep moving, making it really hard to stay motivated. To add insult to injury, there is a complete lack of mentorship for middle management; "make it work" isn't an effective carrot, folks. It's also a bit hypocritical to ask your managers to take mindfulness training when you yourself don't take the time to be similarly mindful or trained. - Some managers actively prevent collaboration from pulling their teams together for the greater good; they'd rather people keep their heads down and "stay in their lane."

We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback. Our team is extremely passionate about bringing a valuable product to leading M&A teams, including more than 40+ Fortune 1,000 Companies. Additionally, we have worked very hard to make this a great place to work and we’re disheartened to hear that it felt like a ruse. Our Product and Engineering teams are continually making improvements to become more efficient and more transparent about their roadmap. We’ve switched to Scrum (Agile) methodology, which will ensure efficiency and we're going to train our Engineering team on this methodology in the coming months. We’re really excited about some big newly released features that we believe will make a huge impact on our product. These features were a direct response to requests from customers, partners, and prospects. Given our growth, we have several first-time managers that we admit we have not given enough support to in the past. In 2018, we stated that our talent strategy in 2019 will prioritize management and leadership development skills. We’re currently in the process of designing training that will enable our managers. Thank you for sharing your experience on the lack of collaboration. We strive to be a collaborative environment and would appreciate any specific feedback you have, so we can take action and improve upon it. Our direct email is recruiting@midaxo.com. The feedback will be shared with the appropriate leadership. We’re keeping a close eye on our employee reviews, both internally and externally. We acknowledge that we have some changes to make and are working on those strategies right now. We want to ensure that we take the right action, which is not always the quick action. Thanks again for your feedback. Kristin Finnegan
