Terrible Office Politics and Inept Leadership - Account Executive Midaxo Employee Review

Success at Midaxo is all about currying favor with leadership. If you're not in the mostly-boys club and sucking up to the right people, you are going to be stuck in the same position for a long time or let go for no reason. It's frat culture and a couple of managers in particular are guilty of wildly inappropriate favoritism. It's disappointing to see unqualified people rise to positions of power all because they're aligned with the frat culture that exists due to poor leadership. If you're not into an ingratiating environment, you're going to have a bad time. The product is terrible. The development team seems capable enough but design and product decisions always seem to be made with little-to-no foresight or customer feedback. Benefits and compensation are nothing to brag about. Office perks are unimaginative and uninspiring. Some of the people at the company are great, but these are not the people that are moving up quickly. Instead, boring and vindictive employees are those that set the culture and tone. It's not a fun or productive place to work.
