Pros
This is the best company and leadership team I have ever worked for. If you are able to take responsibility for your own work this is a great place to grow. This is my 7th company I have worked for since graduating college and Movemedical is more merit-based than any of them. If you produce, then you are valued. Often you need to be able to solve problems and suggest ideas on your own, and I love that. If you have an idea, the owners listen. Also, the people are really smart. Being part of a team where you can trust the intellect and work ethic of your team is very important to me. In my experience, the leaders of the company care deeply about each employee that really puts forth an effort. You see the President and the CEO working hard all the time and that motivates the rest of us. The relaxed open door policy is nice as well. Also, since we are solving problems that no one else has ever been able to solve, I feel confident that we are really helping our clients.
Cons
The product and industry have some complexities that take a while to learn and deeply understand, that makes it hard to contribute right away. The company is basically introducing a product that has never existed before and so that brings many other challenges and growing pains that are often reflected in sometimes big pivots. Can be confusing if you value stability and consistency (instead of growth or potential).
