Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. I applied online. I interviewed at Movemedical (United States)
Interview
Interview began with the People & Culture team who was incredible. Next was a phone interview with the Creative Director, which covered the position as well as a little background on the company. The third step was a design test to create three assets for an upcoming event, and the last step was an interview with the CEO.

This interview process was a positive one. The people I spoke with the entire process were open, genuine, and constantly checked in about what I wanted and if I had any concerns. The emphasis throughout the process on company culture and making it a priority was a huge bonus and a great sign that this company treats its employees well. There were no red flags that cropped up for me, and all of my questions were answered clearly, thoroughly, and quickly.
