Pros

- Pay is decent, - Fully remote - Other fellow coaches are exceptional individuals. I have met so amazing people during my time here

Cons

- As you've seen in many other reviews here, the toxic positivity is off the charts in this company. It is genuinely sickening at times of how fake some of the interactions are under the guise of being a happy place. If you are somebody who is straightforward, genuine, wants to do a good job, and is passionate about edtech, I would highly recommend you avoid this place. - Really poor promotional prospects. In the years I have been here it has been proven again and again that you will not be promoted here based on competency, you will be promoted only if you constantly preach the culture here and are friendly with the 'leadership' team. Did I mention toxic positivity? - Note that I put 'leadership' in paranthesis. This is because the vast majority of managers in the team have little to no actual management experience and were promoted to their roles because of the point above. The majority of work eventually just falls down to the coaches and they just have to deal with it. - An obsession with metrics and NPS scores, to the point where borderline unethical methods are encouraged to boost feedback scores from apprentices. Almost all logical recommendations from experienced coaches to legitimately raise NPS scores are effectively ignored. - Legacy or flat out terrible systems that constantly get in the way of the coach role, to the point where the majority of the job is to do mindless admin. - Coaches are expected to shoulder the majority of work in this place and as such, many coaches are burnt out or overworked here. Whenever this is raised, management will either shrug and preach "we are all owners" or try to gaslight you into thinking you need to improve your workflow. Overall, Multiverse seems like the dream job in the first few months that you are here, but over time you will notice how broken the company is under the surface and you will begin to hate your job. Management is genuinely bad and does not care about coaches, they will constantly preach that they do but nothing will be actioned.

Hi, Thank you for leaving a review. We appreciate the feedback and, as you know, development is at our core so this will be considered and acted upon. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed working with our other exceptional coaches at Multiverse. To coach the next generation of diverse leaders, we need exceptional minds working with us! With regard to your other points of feedback, we have been working hard to create equitable and transparent competency and progression frameworks. This ensures that people who get promoted at Multiverse truly deserve it - and I can assure you no part of that process is judging an employee on how loudly they shout or preach about our culture. Although happy employees do tend to do so! On your point about Coach workload, we know this can be a problem for some coaches, and we encourage employees struggling with managing their workload to seek support from their manager and peers. Additionally, we are hyper-focused on improving our technology and automations to reduce some of the manual tasks our coaches are currently doing. We’ve recently made significant investments in this area with the hiring of our new CPTO, Ujjwal Singh, and acquiring Eduflow - a tech-enabled learning platform. Thank you again for the feedback, and I wish you all the best with your next step. Paige - VP, People and Talent

Pros

- great training and development / high standards - sellers can earn high 6 figures. There are multiple 7 figure earners at the top - executive team and leadership has a history of winning big - the people are highly skilled and talented, growth mindsets everywhere

Cons

- not really a con for me but it’s a competitive environment (everyone is eager to prove) - if you’re not ready to excel and work hard you could fall short of teammates who are
