      Family -owned business, tried to be fair to employees (except regarding pay--very low, not living wage)

      Cons

      Sold out to impersonal national company, "business as usual" lasted about 2 seconds before they started massive layoffs. New owners paid even worse that the founders.

      Pros

      Good pay. Work mostly by yourself and at your own pace. Good incentives for route drivers. I've heard it's the best pay for drivers for the big beverage distribution companies. Great and cheap insurance.

      Cons

      Your body will physically take a beating after a while. Unless you are at the Charlotte or Raleigh branches there really isn't any way to advance in the company because of how the branch is set up. Drivers are also made to do other things than drive the trucks, I never signed up to do extra. And not all the branches do the extra stuff.
