Working on a Factory Floor - Checkstand NORPAC Employee Review

Pros

Overtime pay during the summer

Cons

High-stress level, difficulty receiving help when needed, unclear hierarchical structure (good luck figuring out who your supervisor is and how to contact them), expect to be thrown from one position to the next depending on the day. Little-to-no training but high expectations to "get it right." We're working with food, so quality and safety are priorities. You wouldn't know based on the level of help offered by higher-level roles, though.

Pros

Friendly, honest, and hard working co-workers. Many different personalities but has a close family feel. Would recommend anyone looking for temporary or even long term employment to consider NORPAC. It might not be a good fit for me, but for others it could be perfect.

Cons

Management doesn't really connect very well with subordinates or provided the needed guidance or training. Not to say the managers aren't dedicated they just seem to be disconnected with the staff.
