I worked at NORPAC (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly, honest, and hard working co-workers. Many different personalities but has a close family feel. Would recommend anyone looking for temporary or even long term employment to consider NORPAC. It might not be a good fit for me, but for others it could be perfect.

    Cons

Management doesn't really connect very well with subordinates or provided the needed guidance or training. Not to say the managers aren't dedicated they just seem to be disconnected with the staff.

    Advice to Management

Interact more, get to know your employees on a personal level. Get out into the plant, on the floor as a fellow co-worker, not as the boss. Except for when it is needed try to lead by example rather than verbal direction. The plant manager at the Brooks plant does this very well, would like to see the production manager do the same. Do realize their schedule maybe hectic but great leaders always find the time.

I have been working at NORPAC (More than a year)

    Pros

Great working environment. Company cares about its employees. Company allows you freedom to make decisions on your own and think creatively.

    Cons

Company is larger than the culture. Tries to operate as a small 1 plant company but is a large multi plant company. Needs to oversee plants and direct facilities stronger.

    Pros

The people are friendly, management is very helpful and more than willing to take time to answer questions and pass on knowledge, and admin quickly resolves any issues that might come up regarding pay and benefits.

    Cons

The office is a massive fishbowl, which can get a little distracting when you hear multiple people having conversations.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

Money was good, and it was a set schedule unless the machines broke down, which wasn't always so bad because then you'd get to leave home early.

    Cons

Standing in one spot for hours sucked. and the fact that it was 7 days a week unless otherwise.
Plus we'd only get sundays off about once every couple weeks, maybe.
