Incredible work but lacks individual recognition and support - Field Service Technician National Seating & Mobility Employee Review

Pros

The work we do is incredible and the people we help makes the job feel worth it.

Cons

Company is hyper corporate, doesn't care about individual performance or even branch performance when it comes to raises. It's always 3 out of 5 3% max. Communication with managers is very inconsistent. Top leadership decisions seem solely concerned with savings and profits. Not morale or supporting the teams in the field.

Pros

Being a Manager at NSM has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The collaborative culture here truly sets it apart—my coworkers are not only talented and driven, but also genuinely supportive and willing to jump in to help whenever needed. It makes even the busiest days feel manageable and motivating. One of the standout aspects of my role is having a boss who is both encouraging and empowering. Their leadership style fosters creativity, values new ideas, and provides the trust and flexibility needed to do my best work. It’s clear that employee growth and well-being are a priority. Overall, NSM is a place where you feel valued, supported, and inspired to succeed, and I’m grateful to be part of such a strong team.

Cons

I haven’t encountered any notable drawbacks—overall, it’s been an overwhelmingly positive and rewarding experience. That said, there is some opportunity for compensation to be more competitive with market rates, which would make an already great role even stronger. Expanding benefits—such as enhanced parental leave, including maternity leave—would also further support employees and contribute to long-term satisfaction. Additionally, clear pathways for upward mobility and professional growth would make the role even more appealing for those looking to advance their careers within the organization.
