Pros
I came from a pretty varied work background, so I was a little surprised to be hired at an IT company, and also had a bit of trepidation taking a desk job. But I have found day after day that I made the right choice. This is a company that really cares about its employees. From sending a van full of equipment and supplies to a tech who was stranded after a hurricane to having an annual tradition of adding to the benefit package, they go out of their way to look after their folks. By way of culture, it is definitely a fast-paced company. There is usually little time to be bored, as there is almost always a new challenge to take on. Management extends a trust to employees that they will be able things as they arise and in my experience reach out with encouragement and praise personally, including those at the very top of the company. It's that kind of interaction between everyone from the company founder on down that allows for th kind of open dialog that makes Net Friends feel like something special.
Cons
As with most fast-paced environments, there is always something new to do, whether it be a new project or a new ticket that comes it. Net Friends is the kind of company that will expect your work load to always increase as time moves on. I will say, though, they are very receptive if an employee asks for help or says that they are over-worked.
