Pros

At NetSupport, I had the opportunity to work in an incredibly innovative and forward-thinking environment. The company stands out for its commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve real-world problems. The collaborative atmosphere and the team's dedication to excellence not only fueled my professional growth but also made my contribution more impactful. NetSupport's focus on creating user-centric solutions allowed me to hone my skills in UI development and play a part in developing products that truly make a difference.

Cons

While my experience at NetSupport was largely positive, marked by innovation and a collaborative spirit, it was not without its challenges. Unfortunately, the presence of a few individuals within the development team created a work environment that, over time, became untenable for me. These dynamics, coupled with certain management decisions, ultimately led me to leave the company. It's worth noting that my departure was a decision not taken lightly; had the circumstances within the team leadership been different, particularly with the opportunity for me to contribute as a lead developer, I believe my path at NetSupport would have continued much longer.

Pros

Generous PTO and vacation time. Strong healthcare and dental coverage. 401(k) finally offered after years of employee requests. Work-life balance is generally respected. Supportive peers within the U.S. team.

Cons

Disconnected UK leadership lacks empathy or awareness of U.S. team morale. Below average salary and commission compensation compared to similar roles. No path for internal promotion despite years of proven performance. Fear of retaliation for voicing concerns; feedback is discouraged. Recognition is nonexistent—even top performers go unacknowledged. New leadership expected to fix everything with no internal support.
