Pros

Good information to learn A few great staff members Location Relaxed dress code Christmas bonuses and perks

Cons

Management is poor - micromanagement, not acknowledging anything you do well and only finding fault in everything you do and telling you to take on more when you are doing the work of multiple employees but not getting paid to do the job of two people because they are so short staffed Pulling you into their office to pass off tasks they don’t want to do so that you can do them instead and expecting it to be done ASAP and then asking why you haven’t followed up on any specific ticket when they know that you had other tasks to do assigned by them Constantly being watched whether it be them walking by to eavesdrop and peek on what you’re doing or checking the cameras constantly and making sure they are cc’d on every single email to monitor everything you say, listening to all of your phone conversations Saying it’s 8-5 but wanting you to stay late Being on call all the time because they don’t have many people in the on call rotation - expected to work through the night on call and still come in early in the morning Constant meetings that are unproductive You aren’t able to offer suggestions without the management telling you that they feel attacked Constant walking on eggshells as the owners specifically Jerry is so condescending, don’t let his salesperson demeanor fool you. Very clicky - if you aren’t the core family or management team you are the bottom of the totem pole. They pretend to care about their employees but when it comes to annual reviews, which are normally late, you have to fight tooth and nail for a raise. When they say you are on a path for a position but are actually in the position they always say you are in training still even if you have been in the position for years. It’s a call center, but they don’t want to call it a call center They don’t really train you

Pros

Network South is a small business where your coworkers become your family. There is a great group of hard working individuals there and team work is essential to make things run smoothly. I loved everyone I worked with and everyone had their own strengths they brought to the table. Network South cares about their employees and it shows. Working at Network South is never mundane which always keeps work interesting. There are also always plenty of learning opportunities so you can continue to grow in your field. Overall, Network South is a great company to work for.

Cons

Network South grows more amd more each year. More valuable team members are needed to keep up with the growth!

Pros

Quitting was the best thing I could've done at this job

Cons

The owner disrespects just about everyone he employs -- even his “inner circle”. Employees are presented with impossible tasks, and demeaned when they fail. The owners are in denial about the company’s problems, and can only place the blame on others. If their clients knew how the employees were treated, I think they might take their telecom needs elsewhere. On top of being treated poorly, the workload is unmanageable due to high turnover/high volume of work. Jobs might be advertised as 8-5, but employees are often bullied into working overtime. The owners think employees should thank them for this, but they don't even offer it – they expect it, often threatening to fire you if you can't commit to working overtime. A good work/life balance is impossible while employed by Network South; the employees realize this and leave. They literally cannot pay anyone to stay. The owner might seem nice at times, but he is unstable and impossible to work with. Even his wife/co-owner, gets belittled right in front of employees and all of the cameras they have throughout the building. This is such a horrible and unhealthy place to work – toxic seems to be a very fitting/common way to describe it. I hope the owners learn, although that seems nearly impossible for them. I wish I could give less than 1 star...I can't stress how awful of a place this is.
