Pros

They had unlimited PTO -- no longer an option after some were abusing it. Decent pay for those fresh out of school. Catered lunches 3 days a week from local restaurants.

Cons

First off, Next absolutely deletes/flags reviews as this is my third attempt. Lackluster day-to-day experience overall. On-call with customers 8 hours a day being yelled at for poor decisions made by management, especially the product team. Minimal care for burnout so they expect a rotating staff that usually last 8-9 months before they leave the company or try to move into another role. Linear moves, not promotions are more frequent as the company grows but they're limited on what they'll invest in a non-Palo Alto employee. Small-startup problems are common. Favoritism is rampant, monumental decisions are made on the fly at times, and they can't seem to keep their directors happy as many people take this job and then leave citing lack of work-life balance. It's a young company willing to hire top talent at lucrative salary but can't seem to keep their employees happy. Treat your team like the educated individuals they are instead of Palo Alto's lackeys

Pros

Best Culture and best people - Super collaborative culture. The people are nice, greta team players and extremely talented. Great place to learn from seasoned professionals. You will grow and get better as a professional. Constantly being challenged

Cons

No real cons but the company sets aggressive goals and has high expectations for performance. I do not see this as a negative, but some people are unable to keep up with the pace

Pros

There was a great work life balance but that all ended 2026

Cons

The acquisition has impacted the company very negatively. The only focus is selling more policies but not making sure there are enough hands on deck to handle the increased work load. No positions are available to grow. Its just like every other large insurance carrier now. Every other day someone is leaving the company. And I just feel like i dont matter anymore. My opinions dont matter. Sat with multiple higher ups last year to address concerns for absolutely no reason. Even benefits that made the job worth it such as internet reimbursement is leaving. A whole meeting last year stating about how “positive” and “beneficial” this acquisition would be for us and it’s been nothing of the sort. I feel let down.
