Pros

They do offer good benefits, decent pay, and free lunch. Work culture is run more like a corporate office even though they pride themselves on not being corporate.

Cons

If you don't hit it off with leadership right away, you have little chance of being successful or moving up. There is little work life balance and you will be expected to work late and on weekends. They are under staffed and spread way too thin and it shows in the way people treat each other. There is a lack of communication all around, so you have to be good at asking questions.

Pros

The combination of company culture, benefits package, and great leadership, are something I never believed to actually exist in a corporate environment. I am well cared for with an understanding manager, great salary, and I genuinely like what I do and who I do it with. We have a mission and values that are closely followed, and upper management takes time to listen to our thoughts and concerns before making any big decisions that affect the company. NextAfter has come a very long way, and I feel very lucky and grateful to be a part of it.

Cons

I don't align with all the clients I work with, so it can be difficult to feel passionate about each and every thing I do. But the fact that I can help nonprofits grow is a great feeling overall.
