Amazing Place Because of Amazing People

Pros

1. The people here are both smart and kind, and will build you up and make better. 2. You'll learn and grow at a crazy pace. 3. Getting to help amazing nonprofit change the world. 4. They actually give you authority equal to your responsibility. 5. Amazing benefits from full health to profit sharing to free lunches. 6. They're true optimizer...always looking to make things better, whether themselves, processes, tools, or tactics.

Cons

While serving nonprofits exclusively, it's still an agency...which means there's always a lot going on at once, and the pace can be fast (which some people love and others don't). Not every cause may be your passion, but the people at the orgs are amazing.

Corporate Environment

Pros

They do offer good benefits, decent pay, and free lunch. Work culture is run more like a corporate office even though they pride themselves on not being corporate.

Cons

If you don't hit it off with leadership right away, you have little chance of being successful or moving up. There is little work life balance and you will be expected to work late and on weekends. They are under staffed and spread way too thin and it shows in the way people treat each other. There is a lack of communication all around, so you have to be good at asking questions.
