Pros

Supportive of new and working parents; parental leave and flexible working arrangements. Most people have a can-do attitude; part of the culture.

Cons

Internal procedures and job roles not well captured. Changes not well communicated and implemented across the business. Relies heavily on self management and self responsibility to understand priorities.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Self-management is a Nous hallmark, along with flexibility and a desire to avoid excessive red tape and prescriptive process, which can stifle flexibility and nuance!

Always tough to read a harsh review. As the CPO I take responsibility for the vision, style and approach of the people team. I would hope that we are not stuck in the middle ages, but rather are open minded and progressive. I apologise if our approach to EDI is embarrassing as we pay attention to it and it is important to us. We get positive feedback from Nousers on our inclusive culture and the continued improvement around this important aspect of work and society, while recognising that we can always be better and that the world doesn't sit still so we must be open to ongoing improvement and change. We will keep working at it.

- Limited available sectors - Low pay relative to all except Big 4 and few small consulting firms. No longer competitive with government positions.
