Pros

Extremely casual work attire - You can wear jeans with a "Nuspire" shirt. Lots of freedom. Typically see flip flops, hats, cargo pants, ugg boots, leggings, jean mini skits, You name it you can wear it. (beware - having a laid back attire typically lead to laid back personalities - which tended to be very unprofessional)

Cons

I worked at Nuspire for over 3 years. Do not let them fool you, they will glorify their business and over sell you the position. Extremely low pay grade. To give you examples - Tier 1-3 typically make an hourly wage. (< 20k a year) - sales typically made a low base salary (20k a year) plus commission (Roughly an extra 5k a year) - Overall average company salary = 25k a year. Don't ask for a raise. They do not believe in them. Most of the management staff have worked at Nuspire their entire career. This skews their judgement on a lot of business decisions. (poorly!) All the fun "good times" they plan is just to make up for how horrible it is to work there. It's there to cloud your judgement. Don't bother getting any insurance through them. A SINGLE employee would cost $300-350 a month. And HIGH deductibles. Dirty work environment. I saw frat houses in college that compared to it. Dirty dishes piled in the sink, the fridge STUNK when you opened the door, I doubt the bathrooms were ever cleaned. Also there is only 1 stall for the women's bathroom. There are ~30-40 women working there. Expect a line. At all times. Expect it to dysfunction. Frequently. If you are looking to join their sales team. I highly advise you to look somewhere else. You can easily make $40k base salary plus commission ANYWHERE. You are just a number, chugging away on the phone, moving as fast you as can selling in a market that is totally dilluted. There is 80% market share in the GM market selling firewalls. That means you have the last 20% to sell in.......that equals 400 stores. When you and a team of 5 individuals are making 100 calls a day.... you can see how the market is overly saturated. It's a bogus job. Do not waste your time. Customer service means nothing. I will never forget the time we had a current customer call into our line. We will call him Frank. He was from New York. And I have to admit he was very pushy. But he deserved to be. Our product had not been working on his network and he needed resolution. I was told to not pick up his phone call......and avoid his calls.......THATS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AVOID THE PROBLEMS. If you have no problem taking a shower every day after work because of all the lies you will tell on the phone being a "slimy" sales person. THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU!
