      Pros

      Really enjoyed working in the Australian branch of ORTEC. A good team vibe and a non-hierarchical, supportive culture. Interesting IT and optimisation projects across Australia and New Zealand. Hands-on with high level of responsibility and varied, growing customer base.

      They give a high level of autonomy & care a lot about team culture. It's like working with social nerds that want to make a difference.

      Cons

      It's a very flat organization and there is limited room for vertical growth.

      Great on-site work space (free snacks, pool table); immediate bosses were empathetic, helpful, & knowledgeable; their main product is straightforward and not too complicated to manage.

      Cons

      High workload that could easily lead to burnout.
