Pros
a great group of people working together made it tolerable to come in to work and contribute to some really cool technology
Cons
everything feels like a joke when it comes anything but what is good for the parent company and management. at times the right things would be said but were rarely if ever followed through. as long as management looked good in the eyes of the parent company, and got their bonuses, they were satisfied. it was comical the dog and pony show that would go on when a big wig was in town. nobody seems to care about your progression, unless of course it helps management look good or is an initiative from the parent company. when people start leaving they seem satisfied as if they were going to get rid of them anyways then ask for less people to do more work. management used their supposing power to bully and lead with fear that you could lose your job. anyone talking about change is in the inner circle and it’s funny to watch a realistic negative review instantly followed by two overly positive ones. i’m sure those are unbiased and weren’t somehow requested by someone in management to continue to attempt to assert power and control. if you want to be underpaid, overworked, and constantly in fear of losing your job at a company that makes eight figure profit numbers join ocean optics.
