Pros
Interesting events, flexible scheduling- you only work events that you want. Good part time seasonal option. Payment and reimbursements happen quickly.
Cons
Management is trying to justify Old pay scale to new model which means more work and responsibilities on site for both event managers and assistants. Overall event managers are responsible for much more and the assistants have to work longer hours at the same daily fixed rate. We are representing the company at public events- don’t try and nickel and dime us! And please we are not stupid.
