Pros

Not much I can think of.

Cons

Over the past ten months that I was employed with OneDigital, I faced a range of obstacles that made this the most difficult workplace I have encountered in my professional career. There was a notable absence of smiles, collaboration, and camaraderie among colleagues, and the lack of established procedures made each day feel disorganized and confusing. For my first four months, I found myself wandering the office, actively seeking out tasks, guidance, or any kind of support from coworkers. Unfortunately, I received neither training nor meaningful assignments that would have allowed me to take ownership of my work. It was clear to me that trust among the team was lacking. One particularly troubling event stands out: when a coworker was let go without any prior warning. All their accounts were handed over to me, which did provide me with work but also left me with several dissatisfied clients and no guidance on how to manage these challenging situations. When I tried to raise these issues I was dismissed and often labeled as outbursts. Feeling unsupported, I contacted the recruiter who had placed me at OneDigital, and they were fortunately willing to help me explore other opportunities. During this time, I noticed that new hires in the department were being provided with both training and support—resources I had repeatedly requested but never received. It was clear that if the company was able to provide these resources to new employees, they could have extended the same support to me but chose not to. Eventually, I was put on a written final warning for allegedly speaking disparagingly about the company, despite never having received any prior warning. I questioned whether my statements were truly disparaging if they accurately reflected my experiences. Instead of taking these concerns as an opportunity to improve, management seemed set in their ways. It only seemed logical to me that if everyone is expected to follow the same procedures, existing employees should also receive the same training. Unfortunately, I was never provided that opportunity. My challenges at the company were further compounded by a direct conflict with a coworker who began collecting negative feedback about my performance and made inappropriate, unfounded comments regarding my mental health to my supervisor. These remarks were not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful, especially since she lacked the qualifications to make such assessments. When I left the company, she was promoted to department manager, which further confirmed my decision to move on from this toxic environment. Eventually, I discovered that my manager was planning to place me on a performance improvement plan—not with the intention of helping me grow, but seemingly with the end goal of letting me go, as indicated by comments made about my situation. It was discouraging to realize that management only considered one side of the story and did not seek input from others who worked with me closely, missing out on a fair and balanced view of my contributions. The entire process appeared biased and lacked fairness. Filing a complaint with HR brought no resolution, as I was placed on a written final warning, despite never having received an initial warning. This mirrored my earlier experience and demonstrated that the HR process was flawed as well, providing no protection or meaningful response to my concerns. I am sharing this honest account because I believe it is important for others to be aware of what the work environment at this office is really like. There was little structure, clients were shifted around without proper consideration, and employees were often treated as if they were disposable. No one should feel disregarded or unsupported in their workplace. I hope my experience encourages others to be mindful of the culture at OneDigital and to advocate for a more supportive and respectful environment. The way people are treated in the workplace can have a profound impact, and I sincerely hope that no one else has to go through what I experienced.

Pros

Strong company culture focused on taking care of employees and clients. Excellent place to work, as long as you're willing to put in the time and effort.

Cons

Not necessarily a con. Still a relatively young, and growing firm that is building out structure.

Pros

The people you meet who do the same thing as you and 10% of the sales managers are great and actually normal

Cons

Pay is terrible. In the interview they make it seem like you will be making $50k+ after you close some calls but it takes 1.5+, probably 2+ years to even get a $1 raise based on sales. You get 6 hours of PTO a month which is not even a full day and they fire people who go over. They expect you to dial with no breaks in between dials for 8 hours if you do not close your inbounds, which are all based on luck. The role requires minimal selling skills and success is 80% based on luck and who you get on the phone which is all based on a queue. If you do not convert these the inbound leads they have you dial all day and the #s you dial, probably 30 other agents have dialed already that same day. Feel bad for the people who are in their CRM because they get double digit calls each day from us. Oh yeah, and your bathroom breaks are timed.
