Pros

None, unless you like working for a company that has no pride, bad pay, incredibly high turnover, scummy, and pressure you to scam old people.

Cons

Do not join the Chicago sales office. They hire everyone that interviews, bc it’s such a crappy job they need to, in order to keep the desks filled. You’re pressured to bother, screw over, and trick elderly people into signing up with a new plan, whether it’s better or not. You screw over people health insurance. Very micromanaged. Very taxing, if you’re not calling/on a call for longer than 3 minutes you will get a message telling you to get back to work. People have had ALOT of problems with the company health benefits, with not much solution. It’s a young company, which is cool but they take advantage of the fact we are young. They leave you in the dark about how much you’ll get paid, the bonuses aren’t kept track of besides your “personal tracker” but every bonus check has been less than the personal tracker calculation, even when calculated for taxes. the HR department is 1 person for 350 people, so you better not have any issues, because they won’t get resolved. The hours are pretty long bc they give you an hour lunch unpaid. No office culture at all. They tell you that you’re going to help people, 95% of the people sent to us are being pestered with calls by someone until they get them on the phone, so the “leads” always come in pissed, confused, or lied to. No chance for upwards growth

Pros

Strong company culture focused on taking care of employees and clients. Excellent place to work, as long as you're willing to put in the time and effort.

Cons

Not necessarily a con. Still a relatively young, and growing firm that is building out structure.

Pros

The people you meet who do the same thing as you and 10% of the sales managers are great and actually normal

Cons

Pay is terrible. In the interview they make it seem like you will be making $50k+ after you close some calls but it takes 1.5+, probably 2+ years to even get a $1 raise based on sales. You get 6 hours of PTO a month which is not even a full day and they fire people who go over. They expect you to dial with no breaks in between dials for 8 hours if you do not close your inbounds, which are all based on luck. The role requires minimal selling skills and success is 80% based on luck and who you get on the phone which is all based on a queue. If you do not convert these the inbound leads they have you dial all day and the #s you dial, probably 30 other agents have dialed already that same day. Feel bad for the people who are in their CRM because they get double digit calls each day from us. Oh yeah, and your bathroom breaks are timed.
