Pros

I can honestly say this is one of the best career experiences I’ve had! This company shines with its vibrant culture, outstanding training, and true dedication to employee growth and inclusion. From the moment I started, I felt welcomed and valued. The team is diverse, and leadership creates an environment where everyone’s input matters. Upper management, including the CEO, is incredibly approachable, sharing their expertise and encouraging open dialogue, which has made me feel supported and motivated. The training program is exceptional, New cold calling techniques, email outreach, and LinkedIn strategies—are invaluable and have prepared me for long-term success in tech sales. The fast-paced, competitive atmosphere pushes you to grow, but it’s balanced with a fun. What makes this company special is its recognition culture. My hard work has been consistently acknowledged, from personalised thank-yous to team awards and incentives making me feel truly appreciated. top-tier tools streamline daily tasks, and the work-life balance allows me to thrive both personally and professionally. The company’s commitment to a supportive, inclusive workplace is clear in every interaction, ensuring everyone has an equal chance to succeed. I wholeheartedly recommend Memory Blue to anyone looking to launch or elevate their sales career—it’s a place where effort is rewarded, and everyone can excel!

Pros

Everything at this Company was very good until they were purchased.

Cons

The Company that purchased Operatix did not have a commission structure that fit all Clients, and in order not to have to pay you the higher end of Commission after so much time there, they want you to be hired by the Client and actively pressure you into this type of situation. It appeared that 75% of the Dallas Office turned over in a short period of time due to the management style of the Company that purchased them.

Pros

Eh... I am trying hard to come up with one for me personally. I knew people there that loved the job and thrived in that environment, but I personally just did not have a good vibe with regards to management structure or leadership. It has been several years since I worked there so to be fair, maybe they have improved on that front...

Cons

This is cold calling in it's rawest form. I am not afraid of that at all and built a long and successful career in doing it. However understand you will have to spend half your day prospecting and building your own pipeline. You don't start with a book of business, you are expected to go find it. Not an issue if commissions reflected the book of business you find and get set up, but there was no real commission here. You would get a SMALL bonus based on how many appointments you set up. For example, lets say you prospect and find a company that picks up the phone, and they end up booking a meeting and that meeting ends up winning a $100,000 sale for your client, do you see 10% in commissions for your work. No! 5% commissions, No! 1% commissions, NO! You get $100 for that sale that you initiated through your prospecting and setting the whole thing up. AND you only get that $100 if you book a certain number of meetings in a given month. One month I booked an meeting for my client that ended up in that client landing a $100,000 sale. I did the prospecting to find that prospect. I was the one who reached out to them several times and provided the value of the meeting. I rarely missed quota for the number of appointments I booked while I was there, but for that month, I missed it by one. I did not see a single dime from that $100,000 sale that I initiated. That was insulting. With all that said, I am not to be the one to through a company under the bus. I was not OK with this structure, but if you are starting out in sales, this will get your feet wet which will lead you to bigger and better things. As a 20 year veteran of sales when I arrived there, I was stunned by the lack of authenticity in Management, as well as the structure of pay for the work that you do.
