Pros

-Some talented, hard working people at the lower levels trying to make the best of a chaotic situation. -Unlimited PTO

Cons

Take the negative reviews on this page seriously. The biggest issue at Optiv is the leadership at the very top. There is no consistent vision, only shifting priorities and performative messaging. Strategic direction is mercurial and often contradictory, resulting in confusion and reactivity rather than thoughtful leadership. The executive team doesn't seem to care about employees - only optics. Its all smoke and mirrors while the CEO seems to be looking towards an IPO or exit strategy. Opportunities for advancement or career growth are non existent largely because the business can't financially support them. The benefits package is also one of he worst in the industry, which employees have voiced concern for year after year, but no meaningful changes have been made. Feedback consistently goes unacknowledged, and morale suffers because of it. Worst part is the failure in leadership and poor business decisions have caused mass exodus and layoffs, leaving those still there to carry more weight, without any appropriate compensation.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Supportive Management Depending on who you get Good work life balance as long as you don't take the job with you after hours Work from Home Hands on Training - could still use improvement Annual pay increase

Cons

2 layoffs in a year when they keps saying everything was fine.... Laying off core contributors so now everyone who is left is doing the work of 2-3 people and not being compensated accordingly Only way to get a worth while pay increase is to move up in the company the annual increases are not inline with inflation or cost of living
