Pros

Pay well for the people who are there the longest and perform

Cons

So many things are going on; I’m not sure where to start. At one point, Optiv was a great organization, but over the past three years, new leadership and trust issues have arisen across the organization. Leadership does not listen to the field or the field leaders. Many great leaders have left, as have SE/Reps. All they care about now is an exit strategy and posting ramblings on CRN. They spread lies about economic stability, claiming finances are great, yet Moody’s and S&P Global say otherwise. When the sale of the MSP business was leaked on Bloomberg, instead of addressing it directly with the field, they hid like cowards. They would rather avoid talking and sit in the Glass Tower looking at their stacks of equity and where the next golden parachute is. The CEO has never led a company. VPs with only the experience of Optiv lack real-world experience on the other side of the table. CRO, CEO, and VPs are out of touch. They don’t know how to lead. Soon, there will be a mass exodus, and it will become a shell of what it once was. It’s so sad to see what has happened to a once-great company. Sorry, DB.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Supportive Management Depending on who you get Good work life balance as long as you don't take the job with you after hours Work from Home Hands on Training - could still use improvement Annual pay increase

Cons

2 layoffs in a year when they keps saying everything was fine.... Laying off core contributors so now everyone who is left is doing the work of 2-3 people and not being compensated accordingly Only way to get a worth while pay increase is to move up in the company the annual increases are not inline with inflation or cost of living
