Pros

I am amazed that PDQ exists. I'm not talking about the software solutions we make, but rather how AMAZING the culture and benefits are here. 4-day work week is AWESOME. I won't lie though, the 4-day work week can be hard for some folks. You may have to work harder Mo-Th to get stuff done. And if you don't plan anything, your extra day off may just turn into chores and sitting around. But if you work hard and plan right, having Friday off every week is amazing. I typically go hiking and do other recreational activities on Friday and save chores for Saturday, or vice versa. 100% paid healthcare premiums has been a game changer for us. That's an extra $600 or so back in my pocket every month. I'd have to get offered $30k more than my current salary to even THINK about leaving. The culture rocks too. PDQ still cares about its employees and who we create solutions for. We are still relatively small (about 180 employees or so). So I hope we keep the culture as we grow. I've been at other places that haven't kept the culture throughout the growth because of hyper-focus on numbers, but we are far from that I'd say. Also, even though the economy in general is struggling at this point in time (11/07/22), PDQ hasn't slowed down. We are still growing, still hiring. No layoffs thus far. If you can, apply. I hope you get in. PDQ has to be one of Utah's best tech startups.
